Family-Friendly Activities
What Do Families Actually Do in Cusco?
Ask any parent whos traveled to Cusco with kids, and they'll tell you the same thing: the altitude hits hard and little ones get bored fast at ruins. Family-friendly activities in Cusco are harder to find then you'd think. Most stuff is either too intense for small children or its a bus tour where nobody gets to touch anything.
Thats why families keep coming back to our chocolate workshop. Family-friendly activities don't have to be boring — our workshop keeps kids as young as 4 busy for a full two hours. They roast beans, pour chocolate into molds, decorate there own creations, and eat way to much chocolate along the way. Parents love it because they get to do it to.
We're right in San Blas, which is the best neighborhood in Cusco for families. Its quieter then the Plaza de Armas area, theres less traffic, and you can walk to the San Blas market for lunch after your workshop. Lots of families pair our class with a visit to the Museo de Arte Popular across the street.

Why Parents Pick Us
Family-friendly activities work best when everyones engaged — not just the kids. In our workshop, parents and children work side by side. There's no "kids corner" where adults drop off their little ones. The whole family learns together, from cracking cacao pods to tasting dark chocolate for the first time.
A mom from Miraflores told us last month: "My son still talks about the chocolate workshop and it's been 3 weeks." That's the kind of family-friendly activity that sticks.

Rainy Day? Even Better.
During rainy season (November to March), finding indoor family-friendly activities in Cusco is like finding gold. Our workshop is completely indoors, cozy, and runs rain or shine. Kids love it when its pouring outside — they feel like they're in a secret chocolate factory.
We run sessions in the morning and afternoon. For families with young kids, we usually recommend the morning slot — everyone's got more energy and the chocolate tastes better when your not fighting naptime.
Bring the Whole Family
Our workshop welcomes chocolate lovers of all ages — including the really small ones.
