Our beginner cooking class is the most popular class we run — and theres a good reason for that. Most people who walk thru our door in San Blas have never melted chocolate or tempered cacao in there life. And thats exactly how we like it.

We use organic cacao sourced from the Quillabamba valley, just a few hours from Cusco. You'll learn to roast, grind, and temper chocolate from scratch. By the end, you'll have a box of pralines or truffles to take home — made entirely by you.

Last rainy season, we had a family from Pisac who came in saying they "can't even boil water." Two hours later, there kids were teaching them how to fill chocolate molds. Thats what our beginner cooking class does — it makes everyone feel like a chef.
